Know why this is important? Because emotions are how we recognize each other as humans.

I was on a thread recently where people shared sites that monitor or reflect mood.  It’s interesting to see a bunch of geeks talking about how they feel.  Is Web 2.0 causing us to move away from bits and bytes and towards feeling, emotions, and relationships?  What is the world coming to?
